Autumn Foliage
September to October

The trees on fire
As autumn approaches, the centenary trees of Château de Vullierens are adorned in their finest attire. Green gives way to an explosion of flamboyant hues: gold, copper, amber, deep red… Each leaf becomes a painting, each path a living fresco. This seasonal spectacle, fleeting and striking, transforms the gardens into a world of light and warmth.
The foliage is not alone in putting on a show: the tall perennials, still in bloom, offer striking contrasts.

The splendor of ancient giants
The spectacle is everywhere, but it is undoubtedly when you look up that the magic reaches its peak. The century-old trees lining the bridle path, like those in the mysterious Kingdom of King Lizard, are gradually taking on flamboyant hues. Maples, oaks, beeches, and tulip trees compose a living fresco, where each day paints a new variation. Their foliage becomes natural stained glass, filtering the golden light into a warm palette.
It is an invitation to slow down, to contemplate, to marvel.
