Roses
Mid-June to late October

Plant heritage
The undisputed star of exceptional gardens, the rose embodies romance, elegance, and abundance.
At Château de Vullierens, this passion is reflected in more than 2,000 rose bushes, which bloom from June until fall in spectacular displays.
The long wall of the former vegetable garden, in Doreen’s Garden, is home to more than 400 rose bushes on a 100-meter Rose Walk, combining old and modern varieties.
Around the Orangery, the flowerbeds evolve over the weeks, playing with shapes, volumes, and colors. On the Castle Terraces, Dorianne’s garden, structured in geometric zigzags, displays 300 rose bushes in bright colors that are reflected in the stainless steel sculpture by Pol Quadens.

Heritage and modernity
The estate’s rose collection reflects its immense diversity: old roses, modern roses, climbing roses, bush roses, and English roses
Roses chosen for their beauty, fragrance, and hardiness, selected from the best rose growers such as Tschanz (Switzerland) and David Austin (England). Vullierens roses combine beauty, fragrance, longevity, and resistance. Whether large, dense corollas or light rosettes, each flower has its own charm.
The roses give off fruity, musky, spicy, or lemony scents, transforming the garden into an immersive sensory experience, blending colors, textures, and scents.
