An extraordinary garden, enclosed by walls and hedges, offers visitors a true oasis of peace and tranquility. At its center, an old dovecote watches over this hidden gem.
Inspired by the poetic world of Frances Hodgson Burnett‘s book The Secret Garden, this place evokes mystery, wonder, and gentleness. Behind an old wrought-iron gate, the scent of honeysuckle welcomes you before guiding you through apple trees in bloom, viburnums, old roses, and spring tamarisk, to the stream crossed by L’Imbisse, a fluid sculpture by Étienne Krähenbühl.
Five works by Sarah H. and two ceramic Trees of Life by Monique Duplain line the path, punctuated by hostas, fragrant mock orange, deutzias, and weigelas. The garden closes with the image of a little girl on a swing, suspended in her dreams… inviting you to gently leave this enchanted interlude behind.
