Yves Dana is a Swiss sculptor renowned for his exploration of form, material, and light. After studying sociology and art, he dedicated himself to sculpture in 1984, working with iron, stone, bronze, and paint. His work, marked by a balance between strength and introspection, is supported by prestigious galleries such as Alice Pauli and Krugier & Ditesheim, which have contributed to his international reputation.
A trip to Egypt in 1996 profoundly influenced his work, particularly the Stelae series, paving the way for his stone sculptures. With over 600 sculptures created and numerous exhibitions worldwide, Yves Dana received the Grand Prize from the Vaudois Foundation for Culture in 2015.
Since 2024, his works have been in dialogue with the nature and architecture of the Château de Vullierens, where they find a particularly resonant setting.
