Passionate about flowers

“I am looking for inspiration for my garden, advice and expert opinions, and to discover new plant varieties and their growing secrets. I would also like to be able to purchase locally grown flowers while enjoying a relaxing moment in a pleasant, peaceful, and lively setting.”

A variety of carefully landscaped gardens in the heart of a historic estate. Here you can admire seasonal plants displayed in a variety of settings, which are renewed each year. Among these treasures is one of Europe’s largest collections of irises and daylilies, each variety of which can be ordered. Our gardeners are on hand to share their expertise and answer any questions you may have.

Historic gardens open for over 70 years. Expertise in irises and daylilies unique in Europe, with over 600 different varieties.

A lover of local produce and sharing

“I want to get together with friends, share a delicious meal and enjoy each other’s company in a different setting, because I love trying new and enriching experiences. I want to taste products that come directly from the land, from the owner himself, and hear the story behind them.”

Vullierens invites you to enjoy unique wine tasting and culinary experiences, made possible by the richness of its own production and the local terroir. There are several venues to choose from depending on the occasion: cellars, the castle courtyard, vineyards, or the café. Free and spontaneous tasting of our wines is included in the admission price, allowing you to explore without constraint.

We are part of a slow tourism destination and have won the wine tourism award. We offer many original events related to wine and gastronomy. Our shop is full of local products and our Café Côté Cour serves 100% local platters.

Explorers with children

“I want an activity that appeals to the whole family, but one that is meaningful, conveys a message, and offers real added value. I need the outdoors, nature, beauty, but also a welcoming place with proper facilities and high-quality supervision. I like new ideas and group experiences, and I’m always on the lookout for family events.”

The Kingdom of King Lizard, a journey through trees, nature, and discovery, opens the doors to its world. Sheltered by foliage, it reveals its treasures, secrets, and history through an activity specially designed for families. A dedicated book extends the experience at the gift shop.
The Secret of the Sculptures brings art to children’s level. An artistic and educational experience combining curiosity and imagination.

Our activities were tailor-made based on original concepts. Explanations and materials are provided at the entrance.

In search of escape

“I’m looking to take my mind off things, see something new, and give myself a real break. I like to get away for a day, discover a place where nature and relaxation come together in the open air. But I also want a warm welcome, a real structure, and an environment that respects the surroundings. I am sensitive to what is local, to what makes sense: simple but sincere experiences, close to the culture of the place, authentic and responsible.”

A private, unique, and ephemeral place for an outdoor discovery that combines nature, culture, and local flavors. Between flower gardens, contemporary sculptures, educational walks, a café, and a shop, enjoy an extraordinary break where everything comes together for a refined getaway, combining nature, history, and living culture.

For a single admission price, discover themed gardens filled with thousands of flowers, a sculpture park, and an art gallery within an estate steeped in over 700 years of history.

Art and culture enthusiast

“I am always on the lookout for new cultural discoveries. Culture enriches me, excites me, and opens my mind to new horizons. No matter what form it takes, I want to enjoy it to the fullest, learn, feel, and exchange ideas. I particularly appreciate experiences in new places where I can connect with art in a beautiful and inspiring setting.”

A large permanent collection of over 120 Swiss and international sculptures by 35 artists, set among gardens, trees, and flowers, offering a unique stroll where art and nature come together in harmony. An art gallery in the Château’s outbuildings hosts several exhibitions each season.

A free audio guide accompanies you throughout the sculpture trail, helping you to better understand each work and appreciate its full richness. Every year, meetings with some of the artists are also organized, offering a unique opportunity to talk to them directly.

Curious about history and heritage

“I am passionate about preserving local heritage and the history of my region. I seek to deepen my knowledge and satisfy my passion by discovering new ways to explore, far from the usual tourist trails, to uncover the hidden treasures and authenticity of the area.”

Originally built in the 13th century, the castle was demolished and then rebuilt in the 18th century in the classical French style typical of French châteaux. Visitors can still admire remnants of the medieval period while enjoying the grandeur and elegance of the buildings from that era. It is one of the largest and most opulent castles in the region and is classified as a historic monument.

This heritage gem has belonged to the same family for over 700 years. The estate is maintained and preserved thanks to the income generated on site, with a strong commitment to family continuity.
